Orlando Sanchez 82 of Denver,CO passed away September 26,2022 with his loving wife of 53 years by his side. He was born August 12,1940 in Los Angeles,CA.

Orlando enjoyed watching and attending sporting events including going to the grandchildrens games or activities. It brought him so much joy to travel back home to California. He loved to visit the beach and take the grandchildren to Disneyland. He also enjoyed trips to Caroline's hometown in Nebraska. When dances were held they would dance the night away. Orlando loved playing cards whether it was Sunday dinner, visiting Nebraska or at one of the many family and friends gatherings that he hosted along with his wife. He was always ready for a pinochle or spades tournament which he often won!

Orlando is preceded in death by his parents Antonio Sanchez, Flora Cota and Blas Cota as well as two brothers Tony and Ernie and sister Marion.

Orlando leaves behind his wife Caroline Cervantes Sanchez, son Larry Sanchez, two daughters Darlene Harris and husband Willie and Carissa Sanchez along with grandchildren Marisela, Santana and husband Nathan, Ale'jandro, Davis and Juliann. Two brothers Carmen Sanchez and Freddie Sanchez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday October 20,2022 at 10:30 am at St. James Church, 1314 Newport st. Denver, Co 80220.
