Janis Wuthrich, age 78, passed away on November 6, 2022 at her residence in Thornton, Colorado, with family supporting her with love!

Janis was born in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of the late Warren and Ruth Stokes. She had resided in Broomfield, Colorado since 1972, and most recently in Thornton, Colorado to be closer to some of her kids and care for her husband Paul in a smaller home. She retired from the nursing medical field in early 2000s, with 42 years of service.

She loved reading, traveling, quilting, cake decorating and anything family. She later served as a volunteer CASA worker-Court Appointed Special Advocate for children and was able to help children find homes, care, and support. Her fondest travels were Moscow Russia to pick up her 5th child after he served his mission as well as Israel, Egypt, Austria and Switzerland.

Janis is survived by her husband, Paul Kay Wuthrich, and her five sons and one daughter: Todd Wuthrich, Marc Wuthrich, Chad Wuthrich, Lisa Morris, Greg Wuthrich, and Erik Wuthrich. She is also survived by her only sister Sharon Smith. Janis was blessed with fourteen grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing at 10am Monday, November 14, 2022, followed by her funeral service at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building, 1250 Main St, Broomfield,
CO. The burial will follow at the Broomfield County Commons Cemetery at 1pm, 12801 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield.
