Esequiel Robert Guerrero Jr. “Zeke”- dedicated son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend- passed away Thursday November 17th, 2022 in Denver, CO at the age of 52.

Zeke was born to Bobbie and Zeke Guerrero in Denver, CO on December 21, 1969. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1988 where he played numerous sports such as baseball, as a pitcher and shortstop. Zeke had many roles in life including being a stay-at-home dad, his career in traffic control, being a helpful handyman and a devoted Raider fan.

Zeke is survived by his children Janine Sanchez, Esequiel Guerrero and NikkiRae Guerrero. Grand children Elijah Sanchez, Valentina Guerrero, Eliseo Sanchez and Esequiel Guerrero. His sister April Guerrero and Jeff Sillemon and brothers Greg, Lance and Dominic Rodriguez. His wife Antoinette Mestas and stepchildren, and his grandfather, Fermin Rodriguez. He has numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his late pet Lala. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Rodriguez and grandparents Franciso and Pauline Guerrero, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Zeke married and divorced the mother of his children, spending 35 years together, later met Antoinette and spent 7 years together.

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 901 S Sheridan Blvd Lakewood, CO 80226 from 10am- 1pm. Services will be held at the same location at 1pm reception to follow at VFW Post 501 4747 W Colfax Ave. Denver, CO 80214 starting at 3pm.
