Frank L. Sandoval
1931 - 2023
He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 29, 1931 to Sam (Serapio) and Flora Sandoval.
He was very proud to serve his country in the Air Force where he worked as an airplane mechanic. He later became a diesel mechanic for Ryder Truck Rental and retired after over 30 years of service. One of Frank’s hobbies was sketching, and he would hone his talent by taking art classes at DU on Saturdays. He also enjoyed reading, tinkering around the house, drawing cartoon characters, listening to Spanish music, working on cars and trucks, visiting with family and friends, and car rides to the mountains.
He is survived by his sisters Viola Trujillo and Pauline Romano, children Debbie, John and Cyndi, Son-in-law Bill, grandchildren Nicholas, Joseph, Rose, Caitlin, Chloe, great-granddaughter Elaina, and former wife Pat Sandoval. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Arthur Sandoval, and girlfriend Pauline Cintas.
Following Frank’s memorial service and internment there will be a Celebration of Life Reception at the Moose Lodge 4688 W. Alameda Avenue, Denver, CO 80219.
