Ann Catherine Marsolek was born on October 6, 1934 to Leo and Pauline Michels in Meyers Iowa. Ann studied music at Bryer Cliff college before moving to Denver where she met her husband Tom at Marsolek’s Hardware and Appliance.

In 2002, Ann retired from Mountain Auto supply, a business she and Tom started in 1969 and spent most of her time with family and friends…she always enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild. She especially enjoyed playing the piano and listening to classical and swing music. Growing up in the Midwest gave her the chance to learn and enjoy dancing to many bands and orchestras. Music was her passion and was a cornerstone for all her years.

Ann was the fifth child in her family of seven Leo, Joan, Bob, Rose, Germaine and Jennine), predeceased by husband Tom and grandson Mitchell. She is survived by Mike, Amalie, Douglas and Kim; grandchildren, Marisa, Brycen, Sean and Lewanna; grandchild Josiah.

Services will be held at Newcomer Mortuary – 901 S Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood, Co 80226 on January 30, 2023, Gathering is starting at 2:00pm and service starting at 02:30 pm In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association https://act.alz.org/site/Donation - an organization she felt strongly about.
