Jose Filberto, Marcelino, Trujillo, Sandoval, 85 of Agua Ramon passed away January 15th, 2023
Jose Filberto Sandoval was born in South Fork (Aqua Ramon), Colorado on April 18th, 1937. He was the 6th child out of 9 born to Charlie and Anita Sandoval. Prior to his birth promised to an Uncle and Aunt, Marcelino and Delfinita Trujillo adopted and raised him as their own along with their other 9 children. He lived in Aqua Ramon, Colorado where he attended school in Del Norte, Colorado. At a very young age he would find work to help his family. He worked in the fields during harvest time, Hay Baling and was a lumber jack for the Mill. In his early 20’s he met Cecilia Vigil, they were married on October 24th, 1959 and married for 19 years. They were blessed with 6 children together losing 1 (Son) at child birth. Shortly after the first 5 children were born, He decided to search for a better life for his children, they would move to the city (Denver) where there were more opportunities to raise their family. He would also find better employment with better pay at a Foundry (Electron Corp). Advancing his rank over the years to a leadman position and working 33 years before retiring. After retirement, He would move back to his roots (Agua Ramon) having a home put on his property and lived his remaining years in the country where he enjoyed the quietness and beautiful scenery of his daddy’s mountain.
Jose was a servant to many important causes in his lifetime. He served as a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Served as a Penitente (Penitent Brothers), Donated his time as a Boxing Coach for his 3 sons and many other children at his local Boy Club of America, Caretaker at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Agua Ramon and Agua Ramon Cemetery.
He will be missed for his love of family, incredible sense of humor and Orneriness. He was a Denver Bronco, Miami Dolphins and Colorado Rockies Fan, He also loved fishing, hunting, hiking, Bowling, gardening, playing poker, going to the Casinos and watching his old western shows.

Jose is proceeded in death by his parents, Marcelino & Delfinita Trujillo and Charlie & Anita Sandoval.
Sons, James Sandoval, Joseph Sandoval. Siblings, Antonia Rivera, Pablita Vigil, Clotilde Duran, Lizieda Martinez, Aniseto Trujillo, Florinda Ortiz, Juan Trujillo, Joe Trujillo, Mary Martinez, Ray Sandoval, Alfonso Sandoval, Virgil Sandoval, Ester Franco and Arthur Sandoval.

Survived by Siblings, Lucy Walker, Grace Duenas and Marcy Hickman

Children, Eugene Roy (Lanette) Sandoval, Paul Sandoval (Diane Watt), Pearl Sandoval, Michelle (Gerald) Trujillo and Merrilee (Victor) Viduya.
