Victoria Romero, 86, of Denver, passed away on May 5, 2023.
She was born on March 30, 1937 to Alfredo and Rosenda (Vigil) Arellano in Costilla, NM.
On June 25, 1955 she married David Romero. Victoria and David lived in Denver, Colorado.
Victoria and her husband David owned and operated Romero's Bakeries for many years.
Though not formally educated Victoria showed great responsibility, wisdom and generosity through out her life.
She also enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and shopping.
Victoria is survived by her loving husband David, son Davy, daughter Christine, son Benjamin, daughter Beverly and her brother Gilbert Arellano.
She was preceded in death by her Father Alfredo Arellano and Mother, Rosenda Arellano.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Lakewood, Colorado.
A rosary will be held at 12:30 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd Lakewood, Colorado with Deacon Chuck Parker officiating.
Her interment will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Crown Hill Cemetery .
A reception will be held at the Skyline 158 S. Federal, Denver, CO 80219, following the interment.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the family.
