Norma Jean Evans
1937 - 2023

Norma Jean Evans was born June 4th, 1937 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado to Robert and Bonnie Tennant.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Charles (Bob), her son Robert Charles Jr. (Pat) and her sister Patty Langley. She is survived by sisters Kay Hickey, Peggy Winkinblack, and Mary Jo LaPlante.

Jeannie was married to Bob on January 12th, 1954. They had 3 children, Pat (Lorna), Scott (Georgianne) and Cindy (James). Jeannie had 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Jeannie grew up in Golden with her father, and step-mother, Saloma, as well as her sisters. After she and Bob were married, she became a full-time housewife, which was far from what she did everyday. She was a homeroom mother for all 3 of her kids. Took them to baseball practices and games, music lessons, scouts and many other things. She worked in the community as President of the PTA. She was a poll worker for all elections and worked with many charitable organizations. Probably the thing Jeannie loved most was to camp and be with family.

Jeannie passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023. She will be greatly missed by all.
