In Memory Of
Michael Lafond Haynes Jr.
1974 - 2023
On August 18, 1974, God blessed the Earth with Michael Lafond Haynes through the union of Michael Haynes and Vera Barrett. He was the oldest of four boys. Michael was blessed with two daughters, Jasmine Haynes age 24 and Alannah Haynes age 7.
The Haynes Family moved to Aurora, Colorado from Chicago in 1991 where Michael proudly graduated from Hinkley High School. Michael had spent the last 10+ years living in Colorado Springs. During a period of that time he worked for Comcast, which he really enjoyed. His infectious smile made it easy for him to make friends anywhere he went.
Big Mike, as we all lovingly refer to him, was a huge sports fan. He was a dedicated San Francisco 49’ers fan and enjoyed talking trash with his brothers and Dad about their teams. He enjoyed spending his free time watching movies and playing video games. He also was a music lover and had an eclectic range that he adored.
On May 30th, 2023, God called Big Mike home. He passed away peacefully at his residence.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory: Jasmine Haynes; Daughter, Alannah Haynes; Daughter,
Michael Haynes Sr; Father, Vera Haynes; Mother, Marcus Haynes; Brother, Menard Haynes; Brother, Malcolm Haynes; Brother, Sara Langway; Partner, Liz Haynes; Sister-in-Law, Monet Haynes; Niece, Marcus Haynes Jr; Nephew, Braylen Haynes; Nephew.
