Adolph A. Ruiz, Jr.

Adolph A. Ruiz Jr., 83, of Lakewood, passed away December 10, 2016.
He was born April 29, 1933 in Longmont, Colorado, the son of Adolph and Rita (Arroyo) Ruiz.
He was a graduate of Manuel High School. He attended University of Colorado-Denver.
He was married to the late Josephine Gonzalez.
He was a member of the National Association of Postal Supervisors (NAPS). Adolph was a member of Assembly of God church.
Adolph was an avid fisherman and will be remembered for his fishing. He also greatly enjoyed his work. He was always learning by reading new books and publications. Adolph loved watching MSNBC and criticizing FOXNews. He would record all the news programs in order to make sure that he didn't miss anything. He loved going to Garage Sales to find the next deal. Adolph also took care of his wife Josephine's garden to keep her memory alive by gardening and buying new flowers to plant. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially time spent with his grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Adolph was very generous with his time and money and was very dependable. His family knew that they could call on him when they were in need. He never knew a stranger and enjoyed conversations with new people. He used his skills learned in Toastmasters International to have successful debates with anyone who would challenge him. He will be dearly missed.
Adolph is survived by Two Daughters, Patricia Alvarado and Natalie Ruiz; Three Sons, Adolph (Darline) Ruiz III, Nathan (Diane) Ruiz and John Ruiz; Six Grandchildren, Nathan (Marlena) Ruiz Jr., Eric (Krystal) Ruiz, Darlene (Nathaniel) Cooper, Natasha Ruiz, Jared (Natasha) Alvarado and Caleb Alvarado; 13 Great-Grandchildren, Addie, Carrick, Connor, Serenity, Journey, Titus, Cherish, Ayanna, Zoriah, Amiah, Gabrielle, Elias and Aaliyah; Four Brothers, Manuel Ruiz, Jess Ruiz, Nick Ruiz and Ralph Ruiz; Two Sisters, Mary Greenwalt and Flora Mills and Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Loving Wife, Josephine (Gonzalez) Ruiz, Father, Adolph A. Ruiz, Mother, Rita Ruiz, Two Brothers, Robert Ruiz and Joe Ruiz and Sister, Cora Sanchez.
