Agnes M. Porter, 77 of Lakewood Colorado, passed away December 5, 2014.
Born February 23, 1937 in Golden, Colorado to Joe & Edna (Hamilton) Bloomer. She was one of seven children. Agnes passed away in her home after a 2 month battle with ovarian cancer with her loving husband by her side.
Agnes was a devoted wife to her husband of 50 years, Jesse Porter. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to two daughters, Deborah McGuire and Terrie Babauta (John), two grandchildren Anthony Babauta and Ashley Rojas (Frank) and three great- granddaughters, Lauren, Sienna and Gabriella Rojas. She was also a beloved sister to Zelda Stewart (John) and true friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Edna Bloomer. A son, Timothy Porter and son-in-law Duane McGuire. Four sisters, Letha Kirk, Elwanda Bowman, Velda Skeens and Patricia Mustin and one brother Gerald Bloomer.
Agnes was employed by Jefferson County School District as a Cook/Cafeteria Manager for 20+years where she retired.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
