Albert "Al" Don Martinez

Albert Don Martinez, age 91, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1934, and lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his country, and his community.

Albert proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, carrying that sense of duty and resilience with him throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to Cordelia Martinez, a loving father to Becky and Brian (Lori) Martinez, and a cherished grandfather to Sophia Mantych. He is also survived by his siblings, Kenny (Donna) and Debby Ulibarri, along with extended family and loved ones who will deeply miss him. And preceded in death by his father, Don, mother, Grace and stepfather Conrad Ulibarri; his sister Evelyn Gurule Rodriguez and brothers Marian "Wedo" Martinez, Joe Martinez, Robert Martinez and Kerry Ulibarri.

Albert will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and the quiet way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence brought comfort and stability, and his legacy will live on through the family he cared for so deeply.

Guests are invited to join the family for a reception following the committal services at Lakewood Elks Lodge, 1455 Newland St, Lakewood, CO 80214

He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
