Aleck Jefferson Rose was born to Alvin Rose and MaryLee (Rader) Rose in Yuma City, California, on October 8, 1952, and passed, peacefully, in his sleep, in Aurora, Colorado on Friday, April 13, 2012.
Al graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California in 1970 and afterward, served his country in Vietnam through the Air Force until 1974. He was a Third Degree – Master Mason and his work experience consisted of bartender, bouncer, bodyguard, collections, and lastly AutoCAD technician, until illness banned him from working.
Al married his loving wife, Louise, on November 26, 1986. Big Al will be remembered by his family and friends, for his, large, tough exterior, but caring, gentle heart. He would do what he could to help a friend in need.
Al was preceded in death by his mother, MaryLee Rose, his son-in-law, Brian Weaver, and granddaughter, Lorina Coker. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Alvin E. Rose; wife, Louise DeSha-Rose; daughter, Chelle Weaver; step-daughter, Kathy (Paul) Coker; grandchildren Dustin Rose, Melanie Coker, Cameron (Lauren) Coker, Taylor Dent, Kyle and Lexi Davis; great-grandchildren Jazlyn, Arabella, Cameron and Landon Coker and many compassionate friends.
