Family requests you join them for a memorial gathering in honor of Alfonso Richard Romero.
He was a loving dad and grandpa, he loved all kids and babies and spoiled his grandkids and great-grandkids by never saying "no" to anything they asked for to eat, drink or watch on TV.
He was raised in Mora, New Mexico on a farm and moved to Denver by the time he was a teenager.
He was a loyal Colorado sports fan. He enjoyed going to Rocky's games and never missed watching the Nuggets and Broncos games.
He was a great cook and famous for his peppered steak and hashbrowns he would make his granddaughters on mornings before school.
He will be missed by family and all friends old and new.
Family invites you to join them at a reception in his honor following the memorial gathering at the GI Forum, 1717 Federal Blvd., Denver, CO.
