Alice Emma Thompson, 72, of Aurora, passed away June 26, 2016.
She was born September 10, 1943 in Fort Hancock, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Hephzibah High School. On December 20, 1964 she married the love of her life, William Thompson.
Alice is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Thompson; three daughters, Theresa and Chad Barclay, Catherine and James Ivey, and Angela Thompson; nine grandchildren, Joseph Scarborough, Andrea and Joe Scarborough-Mares, Christopher Hall, Alyssa Hall, Jakeob Thompson, Julia Ivey, Tessa Barclay, Angela Ivey, and Rebecca Barclay; three great-grandchildren, Skylar Mares, Charlotte Mares, and Presley Mares; beloved dog, Suki; three sisters, Jean Arrington, Barbara Kersey, and BettyLou and Gary Madden. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Paul and Johnny Brozekat.
Alice's greatest joy was spending time with her family which included the children and families for those that she nannied.
