Alice Lupe Lopez

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Lupe Lopez, who peacefully departed this world on April 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on November 28, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to the late Juanita and Lupe Sainz. Alice was a cherished member of her community and a beacon of kindness and compassion to all who knew her.

Alice spent her formative years in Denver, where she developed a lifelong passion for her family and career. After graduating from Emily Griffith Opportunity School, she pursued a career in Cosmetology, making significant contributions to her field.

Outside of her professional life, Alice was a devoted family member, leaving behind a loving family who will forever treasure the memories they shared. Her love for husband Dale of 62 years, her children Steven (Juanita), Michael (Susie), Christopher (Michelle), and Grandchildren Brittany, Sabrina, Kiara (Nate), David (Madison), Mikey, 7 brothers and sisters, in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews it was evident in every gesture and word, creating a loving environment that will carry their spirit forward.

Alice will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her caring, her generosity, and the countless memories shared with friends and family. She leaves behind a legacy of Awesomeness, and her loss is deeply felt by everyone whose lives she has touched.

A memorial service will be held on April 22, 2025 at Church of All Saints, 2559 S. Federal Blvd., Denver, Colorado, at 9:30am (Rosary) 10:00 am (Mass) and a funeral reception after the burial in the church hall where friends and family will gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Alice Lupe Lopez.
