Here is a Poem Chosen by Alice that she wanted to share.
He starts with: by Anonymous
To be ill is to sit on your Father's Knee. To be troubled is to feel the Father's embrace. To be in distress is to hear the throb of the Father's heart.
The love of God is just as tender and affectionate, persevering and patient, sympathizing and understands…as that of a mother or father. You are a child. You are in need of comfort. And that comfort you will get. Like a loving father, God Himself bends down to you and of lifts you up on His knee. On God's knee you will find rest. Here you are to relax, to lay aside everything this is burdening your mind, to forget all your troubles and to rest safe and secure in the Presence of God. Don't let your work with its demands and duties destroy your peace any longer. Throw yourself onto the bosom of your Heavenly Father and let His arms embrace you. If you lie still, you will hear the throbbing of His heart. In the whole world no heart is beating for you so tenderly as the heart of God. Every throb echoes the abundance of His love.
Be quiet. Listen. Feel the loving arms of God and listen to His heart beating for you."
