Alice Solano, 88, of Thornton Colorado was called to Heaven on Thursday, August 27th, 2020. She was born in Pueblo, and was raised in the suburb of Salt Creek as daughter of the Cortez family. As a child, the Carrillo family also helped raised her and she considered them family as well, giving her even more brothers and sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Solano, her son Kenneth Solano, her sisters Mary and Lucy, her brother Peter and her mother and father, Consuelo and Jesus Cortez. Also, her sister and brothers Mary, Nate, and Tom Carillo.
She is survived by her daughter RoseMary (Joseph Cole), granddaughter Hayley Solano, her siblings, Margaret, Jovita, Lena, Rosie, Joe and Richard. Not only was she a wife, mother, sister and grandmother but she was also an auntie and godmother to several.
Her heart carried so much love for her big family and for our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
