Alicia Juarez was born on January 13, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas, and was raised in Denver, Colorado. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, strength, and an unforgettable spirit.

Alicia was the loving wife of Eulalio Juarez, whom she married on September 18, 1986. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, laughter, and countless memories. She was one of thirteen siblings, a devoted mother of four children, grandmother to twelve grandchildren, and great-grandmother to seven. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was truly the heart of her family.

Alicia was one of the strongest people you could ever know. She was a hard worker who gave everything she did one hundred and ten percent and always did it with love. She had one of the biggest hearts imaginable, showing kindness and compassion not only to the people she loved, but even to people she had just met. Her beautiful soul and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was also known for her incredible cooking and the amazing Mexican dishes she made with love. Her famous tamales were a Christmas tradition that brought the family together. Early mornings would turn into late nights as Alicia worked tirelessly to make sure there were plenty to go around. Her food was more than just food—it was one of the ways she showed her family how much she loved them.

Alicia found joy in the simple things in life. She loved listening to music and dancing to the beat, watching action and comedy movies—especially Eddie Murphy movies—and enjoying a good bowl of posole that she made on those warm summer days. She loved her morning coffee with a little milk and hazelnut creamer, always with a side of pan blanco or pan dulce. Every few weeks, she enjoyed her favorite breakfast spot, IHOP.

She loved spending time with her sisters, especially going to the segundas together. She loved traveling and making memories, whether visiting her husband’s hometown of Zacatecas Mexico, traveling to Las Vegas, California, or taking her unforgettable trip to Florida. She was a true hustler who loved having yard sales almost every weekend. At those yard sales, she could always be found talking and catching up with her favorite vecino and vecina. Those little moments were part of what made Alicia so happy.

Family gatherings were never ordinary when Alicia was around. She had a way of bringing people together and creating some of the biggest and best get-togethers. She loved seeing her great-grandchildren playing outside as it brought joy to her heart and soul. Every Halloween she looked forward to passing out candy bags to the children on the block. Her generosity and warmth reached far beyond her own family.

The last few years of Alicia’s life were some of the hardest she had ever faced, but even through those difficult times, she continued to give everything she had. Her strength never wavered. Through it all, her husband, Eulalio, stood faithfully by her side. He was her knight in shining armor—the person who loved her unconditionally, cared for her, and helped her through some of her most difficult days. Their love was a beautiful example of devotion and commitment.

On August 7, 2026, Alicia came to the end of her fight and went to be with the Lord. Though her family’s hearts are broken by her passing, they can find comfort knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her.

Alicia was the heart of her family—a loving soul, a beautiful spirit, and a compassionate person whose presence made life brighter for everyone around her. Her laughter, her music, her cooking, her strength, her generosity, and above all, her enormous heart will never be forgotten.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, family, friends, neighbors, and everyone whose life she touched.

She leaves behind a legacy carried forward through the laughter, music, love, strength, and countless memories she gave to all of us. Our super woman, may she rest in peace.
