Alva Gallegos, age 87, began her journey to Everlasting Life on Sunday, February 14, 2010. Alva resided in Denver, moving to the area from Silverton, Colorado. She has always considered Silverton her true home and that is where her heart was.
She is survived by her five children: Jake (Margaret) Gallegos, Vivian (Max) Giron, Gloria (Bob) Martinez, Linda (Gene) Samora, Rick (Elaine) Gallegos, 12 grandchildren: Cindy, Carla, Rod, DeAnne, Tricia, Bobby, Tim, Kelly, Bree, Erika, Mariah and Ian. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren and her sister, Ella Quintana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake, granddaughter, Darlene and great granddaughter, Desiree.
