Ambrose Milton Columbus Jr., 69, of Aurora, passed away January 27, 2015.
He was born February 6, 1945 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Ambrose and Elizabeth (Moye) Columbus. He was a graduate of Douglas High School. He attended Southwestern College in Oklahoma City. On August 31, 1969 he married Karen Lee Butler, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ambrose is survived by his wife Karen; son, Dereak Columbus; daughter, Karena Hope (James) Allen; four grandchildren, Katelyn Allen, Evan Lee Chandler, Amadi Harrison, and Quincy Aristotle Allen; five sisters, Lillian (Billy) Stephens, Septima Ann Lawson, Gwendolyn Rosetta (Alvin) Shaver, Nanette Lynn (Harrison) Alexander, and Sherri Columbus; two brothers, Robert Lee Columbus, and James Christopher (Alicia) Columbus; aunt, Mary Columbus; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many good friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Ambrose Milton Columbus, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Darlan Columbus; and brothers, Calvin Eugene, Gary Bernard, Stephen Craig, John Mark, and David Richard Columbus.
