Amos Barnes Clark, Jr.

Amos Barnes Clark, Jr., 89, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016.

He was born in Denver, Colorado to Amos Barnes Clark and Leah Florence Laird. He was the grandson to George Morgan Laird, publisher of the Weekly Register Call in Central City for sixty years.

A Denver Public School graduate and alumni of South High School, Amos enlisted in the United States Navy in May of 1945 and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1.

Amos was a printer by trade and co-owner of Century Graphics Printing Company until his retirement.

Amos was a wonderful father and friend to all. He will be missed by all. He was truly a gentleman's gentleman.

Amos is survived by his daughters Lea Strachan and Victoria DeMoulin, sons Rex Clark and James DeMoulin;
fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Patty" Clark, son Charles J.DeMoulin, III, daughers Michelle Wells and Theresa Roberts.

A celebration of his life will be held at 5313 Parfet St., Arvada, 80002 on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00PM.
