Andrew “Bo” Bugarin entered into this life on October 16, 1947 born to Helen Licon and Dave Montez Bugarin in Longmont, CO. He was a kind, generous and a gentle soul who lived his life with incredible strength and independence. He was a hard worker with amazing work ethic, always loved what he did and accomplished so much in his life. Andrew was a proud Manuel High School, Denver, CO graduate and a Roadrunner graduating from Metropolitan State College. He was first in his family to accomplish the goal of achieving a Bachelors of Science degree. Bo was also one of the first in his family to buy a house. He bought his home in beloved Denver where he lived independently until his passing on June 30, 2026. Bo had a love for sports, a joy was to play in his younger years and continued to watch and talk about them all. He enjoyed listening to music, a favorite, was Santana. Despite the many health challenges he faced his whole life, he remained positive and upbeat, he never complained and was truly an inspiration to his family. Bo's kind spirit, smile and sports talks, will be remembered and missed by his extended family, friends, neighbors and bartenders from his local hangout spots.
Preceded in death by mother Helen Ho, father Dave Bugarin, sister Rhea Bugarin, brothers Ronald Bugarin Sr., Isaac Lee Bugarin, and Garyson Bugarin.
Survived by sisters Jackie (George) Valdez, Caroline Stern, Meilin Khleif, Uncle Mike Bugarin, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and his beloved dog Cuddles.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Eternal Rock Church located at 2341 Meadowbook Dr. Denver, CO 80221. Family will begin welcoming friends and family at 2pm, service from 2:30-3:30pm.
