Anita A. Urban

Anita Adlene Urban went to meet Jesus and her beloved husband on October 4, 2013. She was born on December 3, 1923 to Clarence and Eva Veatch in Grand Junction, CO, the second of seven children. She married Frank Urban on October 17, 1943. Frank preceded her in death, as did her brother Neil. She is survived by two brothers, Keith of Grand Jct., and Gene, of Denver; three sisters, Naola and Linda of Grand Jct., and Arliss of Denver; two daughters, Elona (Ron) Rathbun and Carol North of Denver, five grandchildren, their spouses and twenty great grandchildren.

Anita was known for her hospitality, especially to missionaries. She was an excellent wife to her husband. She suffered from Alzheimer's and spent her remaining days at Mountain Vista Retirement Center. The family is profoundly grateful for her care there.

A memorial service will be held at Beth Eden Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, CO on Saturday, October 12th, at 1 pm.
