Nita Adkins Castillo, 64, of Aurora, passed away September 23rd, 2018.
She was born April 6th, 1954 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Ralph and Bobbye Adkins. She was a graduate of South High School in Pueblo. She attended University of Northern Colorado (UNC). On June 9, 1984 she married Tony Castillo, of Aurora, Colorado.
Nita is survived by her children Jessica and Benjamin Castillo. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bobbye Adkins, and her husband, Tony Castillo.
Nita was a loving daughter, mother, and wife. For many years she owned her own business, performing transcription for various companies. She loved music, and sang in multiple groups over the years including; Jubilation Singers, Harmomics, and many different church choirs. She loved the outdoors, and swimming and even swam competitively when she was younger.
Family meant everything to Nita. She was always around to show her support at sports games, graduations, and other events. Her husband and her kids were the light of her life, and they enjoyed every moment they had together.
