Anna Krinsky

January 22, 1933 — April 6, 2025

Colorado Springs

Anna Krinsky formerly known by her maiden name Anna Zenga, a cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Northglenn, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 22, 1933, in Naples, Italy, Anna embodied the warmth and exuberance of her Italian roots throughout her life.

As a military wife and a dedicated homemaker, Anna was known for her classic Italian flair, characterized by her loving, caring, and welcoming nature. She was a feisty woman who did not shy away from expressing herself, often sharing jokes that made her laugh, even if they were met with bemused smiles from those around her due to her delightful thick accent. Her determination and fierce spirit were evident in everything she did, making her an unforgettable presence in the lives of her loved ones.

Anna's proudest accomplishments were raising her two sons, Charles and Jeffrey (Cynthia), and being a devoted grandmother to her granddaughters, Aliza, Natasha, Alexandra, and grandson Joshua. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren Mae and Gabriel.

She had an extraordinary passion for cooking, specializing in delightful Italian dishes that warmed both the heart and the home. Anna was also known for her love of song, frequently singing Italian tunes to the night staff at the care facility, earning her the affectionate nickname of "Italian Bella." In addition to her musical inclinations, she enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, knitting, crocheting blankets, thrifting, and had a fondness for drawing and collecting dolls, each a reflection of her creative spirit.

Anna is mourned not only by her sons and grandchildren but also her brother Benedetto Zenga and by the fond memories shared with many. She was preceded in death by her husband Morris, parents Carlo and Carmela, and daughter-in-law Debra. She also joins her beloved siblings, Antonietta, Maria, Salvatore, and Giuseppina, in eternal rest.

Her family invites all who knew her to celebrate her remarkable life. Visitation will be held on April 28, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver. Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will take place from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, with a Graveside Service following at Fort Logan National Cemetery from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

Anna Krinsky's legacy of love, laughter, and family will continue to resonate in the lives of those who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed yet forever remembered.
