Anna Samborski

Anna Luise Margarete Samborski, 86, of Thornton, passed away August 18, 2014 in Thornton, Colorado.

Visitation will be held at Newcomers Funeral Home & Crematory in Lakewood, Colorado on August 27, 2014 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at Newcomers Funeral Home & Crematory on August 27, 2014 at 10:30 am with Don Storm officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Anna was born in Breitenborn, Germany to Elsa and Willhelm Wenzel on December 7, 1927. She completed high school and college in Germany. She worked at Coors Ceramics for 21 years before retiring. She enjoyed playing BINGO, dancing, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents and husband William H. Samborski.

Anna is survived by her sister Erna Jerrie; son Frederick Samborski; daughter Carol Calabrese; daughter Karen Allison; daughter Anna Anderson; daughter Brenda Schohn; son William Samborski; 12 grand children and 21 great grand children.
