Anne S. Tate, 92, of Lakewood, passed away September 5, 2017.

She was born May 6, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Bertram and Gretchen (Schiller) Sichelstiel.

Anne was a former member of the Junior League and Elks and Eagles Auxiliaries.

Anne loved to crochet, making many beautiful afghans over the years. She loved to play cards, especially pinochle. Anne was avid Broncos fan and animal lover. Above all, Anne will be remembered as a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Sharon I. Theorine; two grandchildren, Wendy Wallach and Robert Theorine; two great-grandchildren, Jack Franklin and Wyatt Franklin; sister, Sandra Forsythe and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by husband, Col. Lyndall W. Tate, USAF; father, Bertram Sichelstiel, mother, Gretchen Sichelstiel; daughter, Holly Lyons and sister, Nancy.
