Annie Gurrini
April 19, 1927 — December 9, 2015
Annie Gurrini passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 due to complications from Alzheimer's. She was born on April 19, 1927 in Dalzell, Illinois to Janet and Vincent Mini who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Angelo to whom she was married for 66 years, son Ernie (Mary) Gurrini of Aurora, CO, grandson Nathan (Heather) Gurrini of Johnstown, CO, granddaughter Erin Lucero of East Lansing, MI, 4 additional grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Aurora Post 3631. She worked for many years as a waitress at John F. Kennedy Golf Course in Denver, CO. She was deeply loved and will be missed as a wife, mother and grandmother.
The family is very grateful to all the Kindred at Home Hospice caregivers who helped her stay in her own home which made her last days comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred at Home Hospice, 4350 Wadsworth Blvd. Suite 250, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
