Annie S. Kerns

August 9, 1928 — October 15, 2017

Annie Kerns 89, of Denver Colorado, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 15 2017.

She was born August 9, 1928 in Bridgeport, Nebraska, the daughter of Steven & Anna Liakos. Annie was a High School Graduate. She was a farm girl.

Annie married her sweetheart Eugene (Bud) Kerns. She was an amazing homemaker and supporter of her husband Eugene.

Annie had four children, Steven E. Kerns, Peggy A. Kerns, Jimmy E. Kerns and Dan E. Kerns. All her children survive her death.

Annie has two grandchildren, Angela Marie Smith, and Nicholas Robert Smith III. Two Great Grandchildren Charlana Marie Sanchez and Adalynn Rose Williams.

Bud and Annie moved to Denver, Colorado early on to provide for their children. They lived in their home for 60 years in Southwest Denver. Jim will continue to live in said home.

Annie was an avid bowler and enjoyed many leagues. She had friends all over the Metro area.

She also worked as a housekeeper for a Judge and a jeweler for extra money.

Bud and Annie built a cabin in the mountains of Colorado in the area of Kremmling. They spent many summers enjoying the area and snow shoeing in the winters. They also had campers, boats and a couple of trailer houses, They loved to camp and fish, eventually getting a large motor home.

Annie was a loving mother who wanted so much for her children and worked hard to make a happy loving home.

Annie is survived by her Daughter Peggy A. Smith (David) and three sons Steven Kerns, Jim Kerns and Dan Kerns.
