Annie was a devoted mother who never missed the opportunity to cheer for her son, Michael, on the basketball court, whether during high school games or college competitions. Her passion for the game mirrored her excitement for life, and her ever-present smile would light up any room. An outspoken individual, she had a way of making those around her feel cherished and important.

As a loving caregiver, Annie dedicated herself to her family, nurturing her son and, later, celebrating the life of her granddaughter, Lauren. Her proudest accomplishments included not only raising Michael but also enjoying a loving marriage that spanned 47 years with her beloved husband, Morron Smith, who now rests in peace. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, something that Annie treasured deeply.

Annie’s zest for life extended beyond the family. She was an avid bowler, finding joy and camaraderie in the lanes, and she loved to travel, drawing inspiration from the world around her. Cooking brought her profound satisfaction, filling her home with delectable aromas and delightful dishes that she loved to share with friends and family.
