Anthony "Flintstone" Vigil, 66, of Westminster, passed away November 5, 2015.
He was born December 30, 1948 in La Junta, Colorado, the son of Magdaleno and Lucinda Vigil, one of seventeen siblings.
He worked as a Sheet-metal Fabricator at Rocky Flats and was later a part of the maintenance team at RTD prior to retiring in 2012. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America and Amalgamated Transit Union.
Anthony was a humble, meek person with a great sense of humor. He was adored by his family, especially the little ones, and would always bring something tasty and homemade to gatherings. He enjoyed woodworking, photography, cooking, welding and general tinkering. He also enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee, riding roller coasters, and killing paper (shooting). Tony loved cats, especially Siamese cats, and would give kitty treats to the many neighborhood cats. He also loved to watch cooking shows or anything dealing with engineering. He will be remembered as a jokester, a thoughtful gift-giver, a helpful handyman, a gentle giant, and a kid at heart.
Tony is survived by his wife of 31 years, Olga Vigil, and only daughter, Christina. He is also survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Complete confirmed funeral service location to appear.
