Arthur "Art"Joseph Herrera

Arthur Joseph Herrera, 72, of Brighton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 24, 2013.
Arthur was born March 5, 1941 in Las Vegas, NM, the son of Manuel and Rosana (Martinez) Herrera. He is brother to siblings Ernestine, Marcella, Dorothy, Janice, Jimmy and Manuel. He is preceded in death by siblings Fedelina, Alcadio, Viola, Ben, Mela, Ray, and three infant babies.
Arthur is survived by his three children: son - Rudy Lee (Annette) Herrera, and daughters - Brenda Louise Cameron and Sonya Rosana Briseno.
In addition, Arthur had ten grandchildren: Alek, Macey, Cody, Jordon, Janté, Samara, Gilbert, Asianna, Benny, and Niveah in addition to three great-grandchildren; he will be missed by many cousins, special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Throughout his life, Arthur enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, playing pool, reading, and watching football – most especially the Broncos.
Arthur became ill in August 2013 and died of liver cancer that had metastasized when the angels took him on September 24, 2013. To honor his last wishes, there will be no services.
