74, of Littleton, Colorado. Passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Littleton, CO. He was born to parents Austin Eugene Blair Jr. and Eva (Sittner) Blair on August 31, 1937 in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by loving wife Mary (Cooke) Blair; sons Christopher Eugene (Wendy) Blair, Adam Timothy Blair and James Matthew Blair; daughter Tamara Lynn Blair (Dan) Castellari; grandchildren Talena, Talia, Tanna and Macky; sisters Kathy (Jim) Ostrowski and Patty Morgan; brother Kenny (Kathy) Blair; sister-in-law Patricia (Michael) Jones, brother-in-law Jerry Dhingra; aunts Esther Gillilan, Joanne Lambrecht, Virginia Sittner, and Marilyn Sittner; uncle Dean Sittner; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Preceded in death by parents and sister Sherry Dhingra.
Gene was a hunter, a lover of the mountains, camping, and a late bloomer skier. He felt that besides his service in the Navy, his family and career in Aerospace Engineering, one of his major accomplishments was climbing to the summit of Longs Peak.
