Azelle Vodehnal

Vodehnal, Azelle, 87, of Loveland, CO, formerly of Lakewood and Montrose, CO. Passed away at the Pathways Hospice Care Center, McKee Hospital on October 20, 2011. She was born on June 21, 1924, Lamar County, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by husband, Albert E. Vodehnal, retired U.S. Navy; seven brothers, her sister and parents.

Azelle is survived by her daughter, LeaVelle (Ray) Sumner; two grandchildren Karen (Greg) East of Loveland, CO and Vicki (Larry) Gardner of Deer Park, WA. Five great-grandchildren, Jesse and Katy East of Loveland, CO; Heather (Josh) Warren, JT and Cole Gardner of Deer Park and Spokane, WA; one great,great grandson Liam, Spokane, WA.

Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO; with Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Area "A" on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Officiating, Pastor Sonja Pancoast, Zion Lutheran Church of Loveland, CO.
