Barbara JoAnn Jones, 86, of Aurora, passed away June 15, 2016.
She was born September 3, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Lydia (Horton) Kalins. She was a graduate of St. Theresa's Catholic High School. On April 7, 1951 she married Melvin Jones, of Kokoma, Indiana.
Barbara is survived by her children, Mary (Patrick) Walsh, Michael Jones, Marla (Tony) Haschke, and Michelle (Jeff) Owens; six grandchildren, Candy (George) Lahr, Tara (Eric) Mundt, Jordan (Kacie) Bluhm, Matthew Owens, Marcus Owens, and Lucas Owens; four great-grandchildren, Mia Leonard, Jessi Bluhm, Dillon Lahr, and Skylar Bluhm; and her brother, Jack (Edna) Kalins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin E. Jones; parents, Paul and Lydia E. Kalins; brother, James Kalins; and sister, Joyce Tucker.
