Barbara Joyce Larsen

Barbara Joyce Larsen (Cashmore) aka BC was granted her angel wings on Saturday November 15, 2014 with her children by her side.
She was brought into this world by Joyce and Leon Sokol on the Anderson Air Force base in Guam on February 3, 1960, and moved around until they made Aurora Co home in 1962. She attended Central High School and that is where she met her true love Paul Cashmore. They welcomed their daughter Leona in 1980, married in 1982, and then were blessed with twins Johnny, and Mindy in 1985.
BC loved tending to her garden, soaking up the sunshine while enjoying a margarita, hiking, time with her family, annual trips to Glenwood Springs, cooking ridiculous hot food, but most importantly the Golden Girls.
She was a wonderful person who showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She was caring both inside and out. She loved her family, and her friends tremendously. She was always there when you needed her. She is missed more and more as each day passes.
BC is survived by her children, Leona and her significant other DJ, Johnny and his significant other Jessica, Mindy and her significant other James; boyfriend Greg; grandchildren Nevaeh, Michael, Kaitlyn; brothers Dwane, Mark and Paul; sister Lashell; as well as a number of other family members and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Cashmore; mother Joyce Sokol; father Leon Sokol; brother Tim Sokol, and many loving in-laws.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her honor may be sent to Leona, Johnny, and Mindy Cashmore to aid with funeral expenses.
