Barbara was born July 12, 1938 in Douglas, Wyoming to Samuel Ballard Sr. and Mabel Githens Ballard. On July 30, 1956 she married Frank Harold Lyons II.
He preceded her in death on February 7, 2007. She joined him together forever on March 17, 2017. Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Monte Ballard. Surviving her are three daughters: Cynthia Lee, Stacy Lee, and Patty Lee, and one son Frank Harold Lyons III, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and her beloved brothers: Samuel Ballard II and Walter Ballard.
Her services will be held on Monday, March 27th, 2017 at Ridgeview Baptist Church 3810 Youngfield St. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 at 10:30 AM preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. Pastor Jud Riley will officiate. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 12801 W. 44th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. There will be a luncheon at the church after the cemetery service.
