Beatriz C. Vigil, affectionately known as Bea, was born on February 12, 1938, in Aguilar, Colorado. After a life resplendent with love and warmth, she transitioned peacefully from this world on February 2, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by her cherished family – a passing that was in keeping with her wishes, enveloped in the embrace of those she held dear.
Bea's life was a rich tapestry woven with the threads of her vibrant personality and generous spirit. Those who had the honor of knowing her could attest to her blunt yet endearing nature, which left an indelible mark on every heart she touched. She was a woman of such kindness and affection that friends from her past would frequently reach out to check in, a testament to the love she emanated throughout her life. Bea was not only lovable but also exuded a giggly charm that brightened the lives of everyone around her.
One of her most cherished passions was the art of cooking, especially during the holidays. Bea’s culinary creations were celebrated amongst family and friends, with her chilli standing out as a favored specialty, bringing comfort and joy to gatherings. Moreover, her hobbies flourished in diverse areas; from vegetable gardening that nurtured life and community, to the thrill of the casino where she delighted in playing the slots. Bea was also an ardent fan of John Wayne, enjoyed watching wrestling, and found joy in the community of bingo halls. Yet, above all, it was her great grandchildren who ignited her heart with boundless love and pride.
Bea's legacy is intertwined with her affectionate family, which includes her daughters Jeannetta (Julio), Roxy, and Lorrie, alongside her granddaughters Cassandra, Meliza (Elias), and Esmeralda (Jonathan). The joy of her life now radiates through her great grandchildren Jaden, Oliver, Ezmae, and Carolina. She is also missed profoundly by her siblings Dimples, Sam, Albert, Art, Tina, and Dave, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews who carry her memory.
Throughout her journey, Bea took immense pride in her accomplishments. She cherished her marriage to her late husband Adolph, a union that flourished over 37 beautiful years. Raising her children and nurturing her beloved grandchildren, Bea dedicated her life to the family she adored, and as a doting great grandmother, her joy remains a beacon for all who knew her.
