Bernadine Catherine Anderson

Bernadine (Motto) Anderson went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2026 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Bernadine was born to the late Joseph and Florence Motto in 1963 in Fort Collins, Colorado.  She lived in Fort Collins all of her life until she married Sven E. Anderson on May 29, 2010 in Fort Collins.  She then moved to Lakewood, Colorado to be with her husband.  

Bernadine attended schools in Fort Collins, graduating from Fort Collins High School in 1982.  In 1984, Bernadine went to nursing school, receiving her LPN in 1985.  She then attended University of Northern Colorado where she received her Bachelors degree of science.  After college, Bernadine began a career in childcare.  She took care of many wonderful children in her 32 years taking care of children.  She retired in 2024.  

Bernadine is survived by her husband, Sven.  She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, two uncles and one aunt.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Northern Colorado Animal Shelter.
