Bette S. Tanton, 79, of Aurora, passed away March 15, 2015.
She was born April 4, 1935 in Ossining, New York, the daughter of Frederick and Gertrude (Webel) Smith. She was a graduate of Ossining High School. She attended Katherine Gibbs Business School.
Bette worked as a Secretary for John F. Kennedy High School for 31 years, retiring at the position of Head Secretary.
She was an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan.
Bette is survived by Two Daughters, Stephanie L. Urban and Karen L. Kortleever and Son, Kerry (Suzanne) Tanton .
She is preceded in death by Father, Frederick Smith, Mother, Gertrude Smith and Granddaughter, Sandra Vigil.
