Betty A. Johnson (Hinton) was born on July 26, 1938 to William and Dorothy Hinton and passed away on August 2, 2016, one week after her 78th birthday and 50 years to the day after giving life to her son Kevin.
Betty grew up in Pampa, Texas with her brother Don. She married her husband Joseph L. Johnson on September 17, 1965, gave birth to her son Kevin in 1966, and adopted her daughter Luanne in 1970.
Betty was an exceptionally amazing woman who positively impacted many, many people during her lifetime. She lived a life of love and believed our most important task was to build relationships with others. Her sense of humor was unparalleled and her genuine interest in all those around her made her a very special person. She was strong in body and spirit and it would be her hope that we all continue to spread her message of love and light for our remaining days as we continue to bask in her warm, bright light.
Betty is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Johnson; son Kevin (Heather) Johnson and daughter, Luanne (Mike) Stordahl; brother, Donald Hinton and four grandchildren.
