Betty L. Proctor
March 11, 1926 — February 28, 2016
Betty was born March 11, 1926 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Bert and Anna (Burton) Barbee and passed away at the age of eighty-nine on February 28, 2016 at Autumn Heights Health Care in Denver, Colorado. Betty married the love of her life, David Wilbur Proctor, on September 1, 1946. Betty enjoyed cooking, gardening, the company of good friends and family and pampering her pooch, Frenchie.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her four sisters and one brother.
Betty is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, David Proctor, and her children Linda Pfannenstiel of Hartsel, Colorado, Stephen Proctor of Georgetown, Delaware and Lois Butcher of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren who knew her affectionately as "Gigi".
