Betty Louise Jarvis, 86, of Bennett, passed away Monday April 25, 2016.
She was born to the late Ernest and Minnie Carpenter on March 5, 1930. Betty married the late Kenneth John Jarvis in 1946. They lived together in Denver, CO until Kenneth's passing in 1990, where she moved to Bennett to be closer to family.
Betty was a homemaker, who took joy in being with and caring for her family. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed life to the fullest while fishing, gardening, and designing/drawing greeting cards for all occasions for her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Betty had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She could always be found dancing around, wiggling and jiggling until she could get a laugh out of someone.
Betty is survived by 3 children: Kenneth Jarvis Jr., Janice Blake, and Mark Jarvis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, 3 siblings, and 1 grandson.
Viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 3rd. Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:30 pm Wednesday, May 4th.
