Betty M. Lucero 1924-2011
86 of Thornton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She is survived by her six children: Bernard (Shirley) Lucero, Gilbert Lucero, Gerald (Esther Chea) Lucero, Constance (Lucas) Aguirre, Judy (Arnold) Gomez, and Ermelinda (Manuel) Alvarado. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Her sister, Esther (Elegio) Duran; and her brother John (Rosabel) Watson, Jr. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Benjamin Lucero of 62 years. Also preceded by her parents, John and Emma Watson; sisters, Alice Lucero, Annie Martinez, and Margaret Abeyta. Viewing from 5-7PM, with Rosary at 7PM, Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Newcomer-West Chapel. Funeral service, Friday, July 1, 12:00PM, Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
