Bille Frances Freeland

September 27, 1942 — March 9, 2017

Billie Freeland passed away on March 9, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Petersburg, TX, September 27, 1942.

Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbie; daughter Robin; parents Lela and Levi Stewart; brothers, LD, Charles, Tim, Doug, and Buddy Stewart; sisters, Laverne "Sister" Stout, and Dolly Gartin.

She is survived by her daughters; Renee McQuinn (Shawn), Angela Page (Dean), Amy Biebel (Jarrod); her grandchildren, Brady McQuinn (Michaela), Lacey McQuinn, Colin Biebel, Holden Biebel, Tyler Page, Cody Page, and one Great Granddaughter Hayden Edlynn McQuinn. She is also survived from her brothers, Jimmy and Robbie Stewart, sister Shirley Daly, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billie grew up in Petersburg and Lubbock Texas. She came from a very large family of 13 children. Throughout the years as this family grew, so did their love to be with each other. Billie made sure her family living in Colorado traveled many miles numerous times a year to visit the entire Texas family. Today, her family knows what it's like to carry on the Texas tradition. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild will travel to Texas in May to honor her again with the family she loved so much. She was so proud that her family remained so close, even with the many miles that separated them.

Billie retired from Target Stores where she made so many friends that she enjoyed laughing with on a daily basis. Most of her life she was a stay at home mom where she dedicated her life to her family.

She spent hours teaching Renee, Angela, and Amy how to love and care for their families, and each other like she did them. She kept Robin under her wings always, teaching her how to be as independent as she could be. Nothing made Billie happier than spending as much time as she could watching her grandchildren grow. She spent time on football fields, soccer fields, baseball fields, hockey rinks, and CrossFit gyms. Billie was blessed to have spent 7 short months with her beautiful great-granddaughter, Hayden Edlynn. She was so honored to be a great grandmother. In her spare time, Billie spent her time with the thing she loved the most; her FAMILY.

Billie was an amazing person, always there to help others who needed help. She was one person who never met a stranger. She will be missed by so many people, especially her family.

We will miss you Mom/Mama
