Billie Jean was born October 17, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised in Beaumont, Texas where she met and married her husband of 58 years. They were blessed with one set of twins, a boy and a girl. She was an Air Force wife and had made many moves, the last one in 1969 to Aurora, Colorado.
Billie worked 28 years as a secretary and officer for Irv Ruppel and Associates. She was also a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha for 32 years. She loved her friends and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a loving mother, beloved sister and a devoted friend to all. She brightened the lives of all who met her. Her smile could light up a room.
She has joined her husband, Henry and her mother, Ella Smith in God's Loving Arms. She is survived by her children, Gary and Karen Hillje; her brother, Ronald Smith; and her sisters, Marilyn, Dolores, and Dorothy.
