Bobbie Jo Winans

December 4, 1969 — January 30, 2017

Bobbie Jo Winans, 47, of Edgewater, Colorado while surrounded by her loving family, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 30, 2017. She was born to Garry and Joyce (Ellison) Winans on December 04, 1969 in Winslow, Arizona. Bobbie attended Winslow High School. She continued her education at Northland Pioneer College in Winslow, majoring in Retail Management. Bobbie remained in Winslow, working and raising her children there until moving to Denver, Colorado in 2005.

Bobbie's greatest love in life were her children, grandchildren and family. There were very few that she called friends, if she liked you, that like quickly grew into love and you became a part of her family. She was a true asset to her employer and took pride in being a dedicated, dependable, hardworking employee, who also had common sense. She was blessed with the unique gift and ability to work with customers and or people; making each person feel important, not only listening to their complaints and concerns, she actually heard what the problem was, then took the time to go above and beyond to rectify the situation. Bobbie was also a very strong and determined woman, with unimaginable strength, the pure love of her children and grandchildren and faith in God, she courageously fought against cancer until she was called home.

Bobbie is survived by the loves of her life, son Brandon Calderon; daughters Ileana Calderon and Sofia Calderon; grandchildren, Antonio Calderon, Mia Castillo and Jaun Dala all of Denver, Co; mother Joyce (Richard) Oldenburg of Deming, NM; sister Terri (Matt) Carr of Artesia, NM; grandmother, Faye Ellison of Winslow, Az; aunts, Elaine (Allen) Rogers of Winslow, Az; Norma (Steve) Lohide of Mesa, Az; Marcie Winans of Winslow, Az; niece, Kyleen (Jr.) Gomez and nephew, Shiloh Stratton of Artesia, NM; lifelong best friend, Elaine Padilla of Winslow, Az. as well as, many cousins, friends and self adopted children that called her "MOM".
