Bobby Gene Folger, 85 years of Denver, Colorado. Entered into Eternal Life at St. Andrews Village in Aurora, Colorado on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born March 4, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Harry and Ethel Folger.
Leaving to mourn is loving wife of 41 Years Ann Folger; daughter Angela (Ron) Fleming of Newfoundland, Canada; sons Tony (Evelyn) Scott of Newfoundland, Canada, George (Marie) Penrod of Burns, Wyoming, Robert (Janet) Penrod of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Michael (Jonni K) Penrod of Thornton, Colorado, John (Gloria) Penrod of Pueblo, Colorado and Bill "BJ" (Lisa) Penrod of Aurora, Colorado; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren ; brother-in-law Ted (Lillian) Brown of Newfoundland, Canada; sister-in-law Hesper Folger of Indiana; special nephews Tom, Dick, Bob (Ruby) Bush, Jr. Bush, Jim Folger, Bob Folger, Bill Davis, Gerry (Rita), Robert (Margaret), Fred and Garry Sequillion and their families; special nieces Bernadette (Patrick) Parsons, Kimberly (Joe) Lucier; numerous other nephews, nieces and a large circle of relatives and friends.
He loved and adored his special pets Abigail, Lexi Ann and Gegit May. After honorably serving 27 years in the United States Navy and during the Korean War, Bobby retired. He was devoted to his family, country and his church.
Bobby is preceded in death by his loving parents Harry and Ethel Folger; daughter Susan and son Arthur; sisters Virgina (Curtis) Bush, Louise (John), Betty (Karl) Davis; brothers Bill Folger and Lawrence (Susan) Folger; sister-in-law Mary (Fred) Sequillion; brother-in-law Cecil Brown; nephew Harold (Margaret) Sequillion and John Sequillion.
Flowers are greatfully accepted or a donation in his memory can be made to St. Pius X Parish.
Viewing to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 9-11AM, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5-7PM followed by the Rosary at 7PM all at Newcomer East Metro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at St. Pius the X Parish at 10AM. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO at 12PM Staging Area "A".
