The cheerful Spirit of Bonnie Kelley could lighten even the darkest room. Her kindness, generosity and genuine concern for the welfare of other people and all creatures, won her the enduring friendships of many. She accepted others without judgment or hesitation. Bonnie's unquenchable thirst for life and her enthusiasm, even well into her eighties, accented the remarkable life of a remarkable person. She stood tall, loud and unafraid for the issues and people that she believed in. Bonnie understood politics with passion and clarity. Even to the end, she never abandoned her deep seated concern for justice and for those less fortunate than herself.
Her friends and family celebrate an inspiring life, well lived. We mourn our loss in her passing. A memorial picnic is scheduled at 5:00 PM, on her birthday, August 1 at Observatory Park, 2100 S Fillmore St, Denver, CO 80210. Friends are welcome to come and share.
